Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

Review Monkey offers a free trial period for new users to explore the platform. During the trial period, you can cancel anytime without any charges. Your subscription will begin only after the trial period ends, unless you cancel before then.

2. Subscription Cancellation

2.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard under "Settings" → "Subscription". Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

2.2 Access After Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free plan (if available) or deactivated.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:

  • Service Unavailability: If our service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to issues on our end (excluding scheduled maintenance)
  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period

3.2 Refund Request Process

To request a refund for eligible circumstances, please contact us at support@reviewmonkey.com within 7 days of the charge. Include:

  • Your account email address
  • Transaction ID or receipt
  • Detailed explanation of the issue

3.3 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction.

4. Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade to a lower-tier plan, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds or prorated credits will be issued for plan downgrades.

5. Account Termination by Review Monkey

If we terminate your account due to violation of our Terms of Service, you will not be eligible for a refund of any fees paid. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Abuse of the platform
  • Creating fake or manipulated reviews
  • Violation of acceptable use policies

6. Currency and Taxes

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes (GST, etc.) will be added to your invoice as required by local tax laws.

7. Payment Method Changes

You are responsible for keeping your payment information up to date. If your payment method fails, we may suspend your account until payment is received. This does not entitle you to a refund.
